Kelsey Anne Parmley, daughter of Andy and Mary Parmley, 205 E. Prairie Ronde, Dowagiac, married James Michael Dwyer Jr. of Decatur on May 24, 2008, at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Deacon Frank Wesolowski performed their wedding.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Andy Parmley.
Parents of the groom are James and Barbara Dwyer Sr., 312 Rogers St., Decatur.
The bride graduated from Dowagiac Union High School in 2005 and from Southwestern Michigan College in 2007 with an associate of arts degree.
She is currently attending Western Michigan University for her elementary education degree.
Kelsey also works at Lutz's Drive-In at Five-Mile Corner as a waitress and cook.
Her husband graduated from Decatur High School in 2005 and from the University of Northwestern Ohio in 2007 with a degree in diesel mechanics.
Keera Morton of Dowagiac was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Rachel Hill and Ashley Gardner, both of Dowagiac.
Doug Olkowski served as best man.
Groomsmen were Tony Green of Decatur and the bride's brother, Ryan Parmley of Dowagiac.
Ushers were Blake Beckemeyer, cousin of the groom, and Eric Hardin, cousin of the bride.
Anna and Allie Crites of Lansing were flower girls.
Ring bearer was Valen Thurston of Benton Harbor.
Norman Burns provided music for the ceremony.
Their reception took place at the VFW hall in Decatur with music by Bill Craft of the Beat Goes On DJ Service.
The Dwyers are making their home at 94741 54th St., Dowagiac.
