Westendorp-Krassow
Emily Anne Westendorp and Jason Craig Krassow were married Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Zion United Church of Christ, Baroda.
The Rev. Christopher Noffke of Zion UCC and Pastor Scott Stambaugh of Sister Lakes Community Church performed the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Allen and Denise Westendorp of Berrien Springs.
The groom is the son of Craig and Pamela Krassow of Niles.
Emily's grandparents are Dean and Darlene Lockwood of Galien and Julia Westendorp of Kentwood.
Jason's grandparents are William and Bertha Hilligoss and Betty Krassow, all of Niles.
Maid of honor was Eva Comans of Zonhoven, Belgium, friend of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Genny Westendorp of Berrien Springs, sister of the bride; Jessica Krassow of Niles, sister of the groom; and friends of the bride: Nicole Bettin of Wheaton, Ill., Rachel Konopka of Madison, Wis., and Alysse Cuthbert of Dowagiac.
Flower girl was Anne-Grace Zebell of Dowagiac, friend of the bride.
Serving as best man was Josh Hardy of Niles, cousin of the groom.
Groomsmen included Mark Westendorp of Berrien Spring, brother of the bride; Jake Yinger of St. Petersburg, Fla., cousin of the groom; Kurt Westendorp of Albion, brother of the bride; Peter Kachur of Niles, friend of the groom; and Chris Kachur of West Yellowstone, Montana, friend of the groom.
Also participating in the ceremony were vocalist Michelle Stambaugh and musicians Steve Zebell and Bethany Stambaugh. Claudia Zebell recited William Shakespeare's "Sonnet 116."
Bill and Diana Grabemeyer served as host and hostess, while Melissa Clanton, cousin of the groom, was the guestbook attendant.
A reception was held at Pebblewood Country Club, Bridgman.
Following a honeymoon in Traverse City, Mackinac Island and the Upper Peninsula, the couple reside in Chesterton, Ind.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Dowagiac Union High School and graduated from Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Ind., with degrees in secondary education and English.
She is employed as an English teacher and varsity cheerleading coach at Chesterton High School.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Niles High School and graduated from Purdue University North Central, Westville, Ind., with a degree in business management.
He is employed at Lowe's Home Improvement Center in Portage, Ind.
