EDWARDSBURG – Janet Kujawa needs your help. In April she suffered a mild heart attack and severe pneumonia which has resulted in multiple medical conditions requiring many expensive tests, leaving her and her family faced with overwhelming medical expenses. She worked at the same company for 30 years when last fall it was bought out, therefore, losing her medical insurance.
Janet and Frank have personally helped so many community members when they've been in need and now it's our turn to help them. Friends, family, businesses and community members are sponsoring a gathering to help this local family.
The Edwardsburg Conservation Club and the Snapper Band deserve a special thanks for providing the place and the entertainment. Local businesses have generously donated items for the auction.
Janet's Jubilee will be held on Saturday, July 12 at 4 p.m. Plans are for a hog roast from 5 to 8 p.m. and an auction from 6 to 8. Snapper Band will begin shortly after that. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased in advance at the Edwardsburg VFW or American Legion or by contacting Debi Bailey at 445-8913 or at the door.
