A car wash sponsored by Howard Township's 11-year-old All-Star baseball team will be held Saturday, July 5 at Advance Auto Parts, 900 S. 11th St., Niles, from 3:30 p.m. until every dirty car is washed. Donations will be accepted to help the team go to the State Tournament in Mt. Clemens.
Thursday
The Four Flags Toastmasters Club meets on Thursday morning 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Thursday night Toastmasters Club meets every Thursday evening 6 to 7 p.m. at the Niles Township Hall, 320 Bell Road Niles. Contact Margaret Dyer 683-5743 for more information.

The Niles Senior Center will hold its annual corn and sausage roast on Saturday, July 12 at 1109 Bell Road, Niles, from 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 in advance and $6 at the door.
A dance presented by the Parents Without Partners, Chapter No. 194 will be held on Saturday, July 12 from 8 p.m. until midnight at ZB Falcon's Hall at the corner of Western and Sheridan, South Bend, Ind. Attendees are encouraged, but not required, to bring examples of their hobbies or travel pictures to the Breast Cancer Survivors Support Group of Niles meeting on Wednesday, July 16, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 1446 E. Main St., Niles. Persons who have been diagnosed with breast cancer are welcome to attend, regardless of their city of residence. The purpose of the group is to provide comradeship and support for those with similar experiences, as well as on-going education about breast cancer.
