BERRIEN SPRINGS – A staple at the Berrien County Youth Fair has always been "Rides Wristband Days" during fair week, where on certain days and times fair goers ride unlimited for one price.
This year, "Every day will be Rides Wristband Day," says Fair Manager Chris Carlin.
Wade Shows rides personnel oversee the rides at the fair each summer and partnered with the fair to make each day a wristband day "due to the huge popularity," said Carlin.
Tickets will have two price levels: Monday through Thursday prices will be $17 each, while Friday and Saturday prices will be $20 each.
During July, BTCU (Berrien Teacher's Credit Union) locations will be selling wristband vouchers for $13, saving riders $4 per wristband if they use it Monday through Thursday, or it will save them $7 per wristband if they use it on Friday or Saturday.
The fair's theme this year is "The Experience of a Lifetime!"
Carlin said, "Kids always have fun memories of the rides from the fair."
Wristband vouchers will be available at all BTCU locations, as well as the BCYF office, and online at bcyf.org. beginning July 1.
Riders will receive a wristband voucher to be used on any one day during the fair. The vouchers are exchanged for a wristband at the fair in the rides area. Fair dates are Aug. 11-16. For more information, please contact the fair office at 473-4251.
