Albion College
ALBION – Several local students have been named to the Albion College dean's list for the spring 2008 semester.
Andrew Low graduated from Albion College in May, with a degree in marketing and management. He is the son of Kelly and Judy Low of Niles and a graduate of Brandywine High School.
Lesley Simanton will be a senior majoring in physics and minoring in Applied mathematics, and is a member of the Institute for the Study of the Environment. She is the daughter of Robert and Joyce Simanton of Niles and a graduate of Niles High School.
Elizabeth Thornton will be a senior majoring in political science and history, with a concentration in the Gerald R. Ford Institute for Public Policy and Service. She is the daughter of Matthew and Katherine Thornton of Buchanan and a graduate of Buchanan High School.
Megan Vylonis will be a sophomore majoring in biology and political science. She is the daughter of Mark and Karen Vylonis of Buchanan and a graduate of Buchanan High School.
To attain the honor of Albion College Fellow, students must maintain a 3.7 GPA for three consecutive semesters.
Shelley Roberts, a senior majoring in physical education-exercise science has achieved this honor. She is the daughter of Matthew and Julie Roberts of Niles and a graduate of Edwardsburg High School.
Hope College
HOLLAND – On the dean's list for Hope College for the second semester are Jason Todd and Sarah Keel, both from Niles.
University of Wisconsin
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Scott M. Sandberg of Niles, is a spring graduate at the University of Wisconsin, from the School of Information Studies.
Adrian College
ADRIAN – Named to the Adrian College dean's list were the following students:
Freshman Robyn Bahr from Buchanan
Sophmore Rachel Batman from Brandywine
Senior Matthew Tingley from Niles
