Lakeland launches new website

On Thursday Lakeland HealthCare launched its upgraded website, which will make it possible for area residents to find valuable health information, all from the comfort of home. To view the website, visit www.lakelandhealth.org.
Highlights of the new site include:
The Health Illustrated Encyclopedia from Animated Dissection of Anatomy for Medicine (A.D.A.M.) with more than 3,600 continuously-updated articles on diseases, symptoms, tests, and more, plus more than 2,000 high-quality illustrations, photographs, and diagrams.
A comprehensive calendar of upcoming community health educational opportunities presented by Lakeland throughout southwest Michigan, including many programs offered free of charge.
An online catalog for the Lakeland Health Resource Libraries, which enables visitors to the site to search for books available to check out free of charge.
Videos of patient stories, key health topics, and more. An online HeartSafe risk assessment test, a physician directory and link to MI Hospital Inform.
