Leslie Ray Akey, 84, of Creek Road Niles died at his home Monday April 28, 2008 surrounded by family.
A memorial celebration of life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 24, at the American Legion 1707 Miller Drive, Niles. Those who knew Les best will understand his request to wear casual clothes. In lieu of flowers donations in Leslie's name may be made to the American Legion Post No. 26 of which he was a 32-year member, or to Lakeland Hospice: 211 Hilltop Road, Suite T: St. Joseph, MI 49085.
