Ronald Lee Bybee, 48, of U.S. 31 North, Berrien Springs, died at 11:54 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008, at home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 23, at New Troy Grace Brethren Church, New Troy, with the Rev. Jeremiah Preece of Chicago officiating.
Burial will be in New Troy Cemetery.
Friends may call one hour before services Friday at the church.
He was born on Sept. 23, 1959, in Niles, to the Orville H. and Ethel I. (Simmons) Bybee.
He was a lifetime area resident. He attended Blossomland Learning Center and loved doing puzzles and going on outings.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an uncle, Raymond Simmons.
Surviving family includes a brother, Dennis (Heather) Bybee of Chicago, Ill.; sisters, Brenda (Rex) Harding of Baroda, Marlene (Warren) West of Baroda, Lowinda Doolittle of Bridgman, Kathy Wells of Jackson and Karen (Alex) Becerra of Greenwood, Ind.; two uncles, Edward Simmons of St. Joseph and Charles (Betty) Simmons of Three Oaks; six nephews; five nieces; three great-nephews; three great-nieces and many cousins.
He will also be missed by his caregivers, Marcia Gongora, Terry (Kimberly) VanScoyk, Dorenda Harrington, Crystal Harrington, Shannon (Stephanie) Harrington, Diana Burton, Sue Cook and Lisa Ketchum.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Arrangements were by Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan.
