BENTON HARBOR – As part of its recognition for Earth Day 2008, Lake Michigan College is hosting a Spring Cleaning Community Document Shredding Day Friday, April 25, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Bertrand Crossing Campus, 1905 Foundation Drive, Niles.
Safe and secure on-site shredding will be provided by Mountain High Shredding of Mishawaka, Ind., at a cost of $0.15 per pound.
All shredded material is bailed, recycled and used as a pulp substitute at paper mills, sparing the harvesting of new trees for their pulp content.
