Lady Bobcats topple Niles netters in non-league tilt

NILES – Host Brandywine improved to 5-0 on the season with a 6-2 victory over Niles Friday afternoon at Plym Park.
The Lady Bobcats won three out of four flights at both singles and doubles to remain undefeated.
Brittney Patterson, Aubrey Espick and Ariel Prescott were singles winners for Brandywine.
Niles' lone victory came at No. 1 singles where Rachel Horn defeated Amelia Harrison in a three-set thriller.
Winning doubles matches for the Lady Bobcats were the teams of Jamie Bartuska and Jo Ferenczi, Katie Irons and Ashley Light, along with Kyla Molica and Brooke Ford.
Niles' doubles victory came at the No. 2 flight with Ali Landgraf and Katie Bourbannais defeating Lynette Earl and Nichole Coshow.
Niles was supposed to be back in action today, however, Edwardsburg's Eddies Invitational was canceled Friday afternoon.
