Wild gets off to hot start in bowl games

Bryan Wild got off to a hot start in the bowl games as he has gone 6-1 over the first seven games.
Dowagiac Police Chief Tom Atkinson is still out in front, leading by four games over John Eby, managing editor of the Dowagiac Daily News.
Atkinson is 99-48, while Eby is now 95-52 after getting off to a 5-2 start.
Mike Behnke, Judge Sue Dobrich and Scott Novak are all tied for third place with 94-53 records.
Behnke and Dobrich are both 5-2 after seven games, while Novak is 3-4.
Also going 5-2 to start the bowl season for the Football Forecasters are Dowagiac City Clerk Jim Snow and Cassopolis Police Chief Frank Williams.
Tom Carlson, Allison Hayes and Congressman Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph, are are all 4-3.
Greg Younger, Dowagiac's athletic director is off to a 3-4 start.
The bowl season continues tonight with the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl with Arizona State taking on Texas.
Kickoff is set for 8 p.m.
On Friday, Michigan State will face Boston College at 5 p.m. in the Champs Sports Bowl.
Also on Friday, Houston will face TCU in the Texas Bowl at 8 p.m. and Maryland will take on Oregon State in the Emerald Bowl at 8:30 p.m.
The Car Care Bowl, Liberty Bowl and Alamo Bowl will be held on Saturday.
