Local cross country runners wrap up season

BROOKLYN – Torrie Eger of Buchanan grabbed a 76th place finish on Saturday at the Division 3 Cross Country Championships held at Michigan International Speedway.
Eger posted a time of 20:16.2.
Teammate Liz Hein finished 91st overall with a time of 20:25.8.
Brandywine's Ashley Harrell finished 144th in the same race with a clocking of 21:05.3.
In the Division 3 boys' race, Brandywine's Tyler Weedon placed 134th with a time of 17:28.2.
Freemont won the boys' overall championship with 105 points, while Gaylord took the girls' title with 131 points.
In the Division 2 race, Madie Rodts and Samantha Brawley of Niles finished 85th and 106th respectively.
Rodts posted a time of 19:53.9, while Brawley, competing in her fourth state final, finished with a time of 20:08.7.
Williamston won the boys' championship with 63 points. Jackson Lumen Christi won the girls' crown with 101 points.
