NILES – Troopers from the Michigan State Police Niles Post 53 are investigating a commercial burglary and safe job at the Joey Armadillo's Bowling Alley Sports Bar &Restaurant, located in Niles Township just north of the Indiana State Line.
Sometime after 1 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 29, suspects entered the closed business by force, gaining access to its interior. Once inside, the thieves broke into cash registers and multiple offices within the building. Using tools brought to the scene by the suspects, the company's safe was accessed and an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen. Also taken were bottles of alcohol.
