Ruth M. Bixby Covington, 84, formerly of Niles, died at 7:23 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at her home surrounded by her family and caregivers at Holy Cross Village, Notre Dame, Ind.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Our Lady of Holy Cross Chapel, Notre Dame, by the Rev. Kenneth Grabner, C.S.C., assisted by Brother Joseph Fox, C.S.C., both of Holy Cross VIllage.
Committal rites will be read at 2 p.m. Monday at the graveside in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles, by Brother Paul Kelly, C.S.C., also of Holy Cross Village.
There will be no public visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
