St. Joe Kickers win Blossomland Cup

The St. Joe Kickers captured their second straight Blossomland Cup championship and third title overall with a 5-0 victory over Real Dowagiac on Sunday afternoon.
Andrew Girvan scored a pair of goals, while Dowagiac's Tony Black also scored for the Kickers, who end the 2007 season with a 12-1-1 record.
Also scoring for the Kickers, who finished second to Real Dowagiac in the regular season, were Kyle Hammermeister and Shane Rasch.
Tim Smith recorded the shutout.
Real Dowagiac, the regular season champion for the second straight season, finish at 11-1-2.
In the consolation match, P&R FC and Dura Mold FC tied at 1-1.
Mike Arnold scored the lone goal for P&R (8-5-1). David Tomcyzk scored for Dura Mold (6-6-2).
Real Dowagiac's Mauricio Mancera was honored with the Golden Boot Award for leading the league in scoring with 21 goals. St. Stephens Villains were given the Sportsmanship Award by the league.
