OTSEGO – Host Otsego in a Wolverine Conference match blanked the Dowagiac varsity soccer team on Wednesday evening.
The Lady Bulldogs grabbed a 4-0 halftime lead on the Chieftains, who were out shot by Otsego, 28-3.
Dowagiac senior goalkeeper Amber Clark was credited with 20 saves.
The Chieftains are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to South Haven for a league match. Play is scheduled to begin at 6:45 p.m.
Dowagiac will host Paw Paw, which it drew for its district opening, on Wednesday.
Wednesday's league match will begin begin at 5:45 p.m.
Dowagiac will host Paw Paw in the opening round of the Division 3 districts on May 29.
