Rodts heads to Calvin

NILES – Niles High School senior Danny Rodts will continue his basketball career at Calvin College next season.
Rodts is a 6'4 shooting guard who averaged 15 points and five rebounds per game for the Vikings. Niles finished 5-15 this past season.
He was first team All-Division and made 38 three-point baskets this year.
Rodts is also an honor student and has his own car cleaning and detailing business. Earlier in the year, Danny was voted as the Homecoming King and was also a key member of the Niles Men's Soccer District Championship Team. His parents are Dan,Sr. and Mary Ann.
"Calvin is an excellent school academically. Danny has worked very hard on his game to get the opportunity to play at one of the Top 25 schools in the country in Division III. He is an outstanding basketball player, student and individual. I believe Calvin College is going to love Danny Rodts," Todd pawielski, Niles varsity basketball coach, said.
