All of us lose things from time to time – a pair of earrings, important phone numbers and even money. Sometimes they appear out of the blue days, weeks, even months later. But sometimes, they never seem to come back.
Nine years ago – on Nov. 28, 1998 to be exact – an item was found, and the owner is still unknown.
Dave Brock was driving down Third Street, south of Ontario, when he passed a silver Ford station wagon. While following the car, he noticed something blow off the roof, landing in the middle of the street. Apparently, the person driving the Ford forgot this item was on the roof of the car.
Brock stopped, picked up what he thought was a laptop, but turned out to be a photo album. He described it as a blue zip case with some amazing pictures in it. Autographed pictures of dragsters and funny cars filled the pages. Brock couldn't believe it.
He searched for the owners after the find, but never had any luck.
A lot of time and memories go along with the photos. Brock would like nothing more than to find the rightful owners.
Let's help this photo album find its way back home.
