Go Green golf outing May 7

Former Dowagiac standout and Michigan State tight ends coach Mark Staten will be spending time with Spartan fans on May 7.
Staten will be on hand for happy hour at the Go Green Charity Golf Scramble at the Moors Golf Club in Kalamazoo.
There are only 10 remaining spots left for foursomes. Cost is $100 per person, which includes a souvenir shirt.
Corporate sponsorships are available for $750, which includes golf for a foursome, a hole sign, four souvenir shirts and a raffle ticket.
Registration is scheduled to begin at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.
A progressive lunch will be provided on the course for all participants.
Happy hour is set to begin at 6 p.m. and will include appetizers. Prizes and awards will be presented during happy hour.
A raffle, as well as a silent auction, will be held.
Some of the items available include new football stadium seating tickets, a Derek Jeter autographed jersey, a Tom Izzo autographed basketball and a Marriot stay at Boyne Moutain.
Proceeds from the event will help fund a local charity and the MSU Kalamazoo Club Endowment.
