Beckwith announces 2007 lineup

Beckwith Theatre of Dowagiac on Wednesday announced its schedule for its 17th season beginning March 30.
All performances take place at the Beckwith, 100 New York Ave.
Evening performances are at 7:30.
Sunday matiness are at 2 p.m.
Tickets cost $10 for plays, $12 for musicals.

Bell, Book and Candle
Can a few modern people cast spells and perform feats of supernaturalism?
Gillian Holroyd can and does in this comedy success.
Perfomances: March 30 and 31 and April 1, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Adam and Eve
(musical)
Adam and his dog, with the help of his landlord, begin it all when he meets Eve.
Delightful music by Brian Templeton, who wrote for the Limeliters and Glen Yarborough.
Rollicking good fun and humor.
Performances: May 19 (Dogwood show), 20, 25, 26 and 27 and June 1, 2.
I Ought to be in Pictures
Neil Simon strikes again with a mature play.
A Hollywood scriptwriter with writer's block is confronted by his distant past when a young woman claiming to be his teenage daughter shows up at the door and wants to be in the movies.
Performances: July13, 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22.
Bus Stop
A bus out of Kansas City pulls into a cheerful diner during a snow storm.
All the roads are blocked and the weary travelers have to spend the night.
Sparks fly in this romantic comedy that finds a better venue on the stage than in the rather lackluster film starring Marilyn Monroe.
Performances: Aug. 17, 18, 19, 24, 25 and 26.
Jake's Women
Just when you thought it was safe to stop laughing, up pops Neil Simon with another hilarious foray into the world of modern relationships.
Jake, a successful novelist, faces a marital crisis by dreaming about the women in his life.
