STURGIS – Cornelius Virgil Powell, 71, of White Pigeon, died early Sunday morning, Sept. 24, 2006, at the Sturgis Hospital emergency room.
His family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Rosenberg-Schipper Funeral Home of Sturgis.
Funeral services celebrating the life of Virgil Powell will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pastor Keith Phillips of Centreville Seventh-day Adventist Church will officiate.
A graveside committal will follow the service at Burr Oak Cemetery in Burr Oak.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family to help with the many expenses would be most appreciated.
