CASSOPOLIS – Cass County Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood, Jr. is pleased to announce the upcoming Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training beginning Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the William F. Lozier VFW Post in Cassopolis.
Classes will be held weekly on Wednesday nights from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The eight-week series will culminate on Nov. 8 with a simulated disaster exercise and graduation.
CERT is a training program that prepares you to help yourself, your family, and your neighbors in the event of a disaster.
