The pairings have been released for the upcoming Dowagiac City Tennis Tournament's doubles flights.
Action will begin Saturday morning at the Dowagiac Middle School courts at 8 a.m. with the men's and women's divisions. The mixed doubles tournament will be held Sunday beginning at 8 a.m.
In the men's pairings, defending champions Mike and Chuck Rubino have received a first round bye.
Playing opening round matches are Mike Urbanski and Jack Miller versus Scott Marshall and Jim Darr; Larry Watson and Mike Hoff against Matt Marbach and Todur Gadjev; and Josue Miranda and Evan Bressler versus Terry Proctor and Dave Negron.
Like the singles tournament, the women will play a round robin format.
In the opening round, Sue Watson and Tonya Scherer will take on Taylor Townsend and Ashley Smith.
In the second round, scheduled for 10 a.m., Watson and Scherer will face defending champions Lisa Rubino and Ann O'Keefe.
Rubino and O'Keefe will then face Townsend and Smith in the third round.
On Sunday, defending champions Mike and Lisa Rubino will receive a first round bye, as will, Scott Marshall and Sue Watson.
Playing opening round matches at 8 a.m. will be Mike and Shelly Urbanski versus Jesse and Taylor Townsend; and Hoff and Scherer against Aaron Krieger and Smith.
