NILES - The Michigan High School Softball and Baseball Coaches Association have recently announced the 2006 All-District teams.
Brandywine had six players from the baseball team and three from the softball team named, while Buchanan's softball team added six.
Bobcat catcher Cameron Ondresky, pitcher D.J. Elrod, infielders Matt Wieger and Justin Ely, first baseman Kevin Curran and outfielder Noah Udell were all honored on the baseball team.
The softball team consists of Brandywine's Brooke Coshow and Kendra and Kelli Zache. Buchanan's Chenai Marker, Jayme O'Bryant, Jill Woodrick, Hayley Burks, Emily Ross and Ashley Pointer also made the team.
The baseball All Academic list was also announced as Brandywine's Elrod and Wieger and Buchanan's Jim Connors were honored.
Bobcat softball players Angela Newman, Rachel Batman, Kristina Ford and Kendra and Kelli Zache were selected to the first team softball Lakeland All Conference list.
