Real Dowagiac remains in first with win over Diamonds United

Real Dowagiac remained atop the Blossomland Soccer League standings with a 3-0 win over Diamonds United Thursday evening at Andrews Academy.
Alejandro Hernandez had the hat trick for Real Dowagiac, which is now 4-0-1 on the season.
Diamonds United drops to 1-3 on the year.
On Wednesday, Whirlpool United blanked the Tornados 4-0 in Niles.
Scoring for Whirlpool United were Kurt Gamauf (2), Denis Morais and Marcelo Castro.
Whirlpool United improved to 3-2 on the year. The Tornados dropped to 0-4.
Real Dowagiac (3-0-1) remains in first place in the league with 10 points.
The St. Joe Kickers, Dowagiac Dawgs and Whirlpool United are all tied for second with nine points.
St. Joe is 3-0 on the season, while the Dawgs are 3-1.
P&R FC (2-1-1) is fifth with seven points, St. Stephen's Villains (2-2) sixth, Diamonds United (1-2) seventh, Niles R.A.P. (1-3) eight, Tornados 10th and Buchanan FC (0-4) 10th.
In other recent games, P&R FC defeated Diamonds United, 4-0; St. Joe Kickers edged Niles R.A.P., 1-0; Dowagiac Dawgs nipped Whirlpool United, 4-3; and Real Dowagiac edged the Tornados, 2-1.
Tony Black of the Dowagiac Dawgs and Aaron Soule of St. Stephen's Villains lead the league in scoring with seven goals each.
Gamauf has six goals, while Doug Summers of Buchanan FC has five goals.
Tied with four goals each are Mike Dalton (Whirlpool United), Rob Grashhorn (Villains), Octavio Hernandez (Real Dowagiac) and David Warsen (Kickers).
There are seven players tied with three goals.
