NILES - Brandywine's varsity soccer team was able to claim the No. 2 spot in the Lakeland Conference Tuesday with a 4-0 win over Buchanan.
River Valley defeated Bridgman 1-0 Tuesday, which allowed the Lady Cats to take second.
Brandywine's Erin Sinkoff scored three goals, while Jill Sinkoff scored one to post the final score.
The Bobcats had assists from Kalie Newman, Emily Low and Missy Cooper.
Brandywine will play Bridgman on Thursday, June 1 in Kalamazoo for the start of district play.
