John W. Gonser, 83, of Oakhill Avenue, Plymouth, Ind., died at 11:15 a.m. on Monday, May 15, at Miller's Merry Manor in Plymouth, following an illness.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 19 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home in Goshen, with the Rev. Dr. Thomas C. Rough, retired United Methodist church Minister and also Mr. Gonser's nephew, officiating. Burial will take place at Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart, Ind.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday and from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
Memorial contribution, in his memory, may be made to either Goshen City Church of the Brethren or to Hospice of Marshall County or the donor's choice.
