SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The Life Treatment Centers (LTC), a non-profit organization in South Bend, Ind., will be bringing the National Golf Association (NGA) to Knollwood Country Club in Granger, Ind. for a week of golfing and family fun.
The LaSalle Bank Pro Golf Classic will be held May 15-21 and will feature around 168 professional golfers who will be putting on clinics as well as playing in tournaments throughout the week.
The events will kick off on Monday, May 15 when qualifying will be held. During this, 10 spots will be left open for local golfers who wish to take their shot at competing against the professionals.
On Tuesday, May 16, a free junior clinic will be held, where five to six professionals will be conducting an hour long clinic. This gives kids a chance to get tips and learn from the pro's.
On Wednesday, May 17, morning and afternoon play will be held with the professionals. This is a scramble format with four-man teams. This is a great chance for you and your friends to play with a pro!
There are still openings to play with a pro on Wednesday morning. Life Treatment Centers will be selling teams of four for $600 and individual spots for $150.
From Thursday, May 18 to Sunday, May 21, the professionals will begin their play. After play on Friday, the top 60 golfers will move on and compete for a chance to win it all. This tournament is free to the public and would make a great outing for you and the family or a group of friends!
Volunteers are still needed for the professional play, which is from Thursday, May 18-Sunday May 21.
Sponsorships for this event are being accepted at this time. If you would like to sponsor, play with the professionals or just volunteer your time, contact Brenda Mast at 574-233-5433 ex. 205.
