NILES - The Niles JV baseball team split a doubleheaders with South Bend Adams Saturday afternoon.
The Vikings won the first game 4-3, but fell in the second 7-2.
Mike Simpson was the winning pitcher in the first game with David Ralston providing the relief.
Top hitters were Andrew Brawley with two singles and one RBI, while Anthony Gladden and Sean Gordon each had one single.
In the second game, Taylor Robson suffered the loss at the mound, but led all hitters with a double, single and one RBI.
Brawley, Simpson, Gordon, Nick Hartman and Billy Siderits all had one single each for the Vikes.
