BUCHANAN - The Buchanan varsity tennis team remains undefeated in the Lakeland Conference as the Bucks took an 8-0 win over visiting Bridgman Wednesday evening.
True Sulier defeated Eric Clark at No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-0. Harper Sulier's match against Robby Clark was the only one to last three sets. Sulier fell in the first one 6-2, but rallied to win the next two, 7-6, 6-2.
At No. 3 singles, Ryan Skene grabbed a 6-1, 7-5 win over Miles Strebeck and Brad Burns defeated Tyler Carlson at No. 4 singles 6-0, 6-0.
Andrew Gordon and Mario Bonardi took 6-1, 6-0 wins at No. 1 doubles against Tyler Fisher and Blake Barker.
The No. 2 doubles team of Dillon Bailey and Eric Lentz defeated Pat Beach and Roger Gampel 6-0, 6-2.
No. 3 doubles Sean Thronton and Andrew Frederick claimed a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Peter Merrick and Ryan Jedlicka.
Andrew Scoggin and Josh Niven grabbed a 6-1, 6-0 win against Ian Strebeck and Ryan Frank and No. 4 doubles.
Buchanan, now 5-0, travels to Paw Paw on Tuesday for a non-conference match.
