DOWAGIAC - The Cass County Special Olympics basketball teams wrapped up their seasons recently.
The Green team was 7-3 and finished first in Division 5 at the regional tournament in Grand Rapids.
The Blue team finished the year at 3-7 and finished fourth in Division 9.
There were 43 teams at the regional tournament.
The teams would like to thank the following people for their support this season: Keene's Auto Body, Tom and Pat Keene for new uniforms, Cass County Civitan Club, Moose Lodge No. 599, Cass County Sheriff's Department, Cassopolis schools, Lewis Cass ISD, Southwestern Michigan College, Ron Gunn, Tom Hartsel, Bill and Pat Willis, Jeanette King, Lori Corbilis, Kay Freeman, Carrie Prucker, Phyllis Haskins, Terry and Laura Stienbeck, Rick Finley, Amanda Woodill, Arden Withers, Virginia Roher, Hiawatha Francisco, Hale's Hardware, Judd Lumber, Farm Bureau Insurance, Bill Phelps, Dowagiac Auto Sales and Greg Ferrier.
The players are from Marcellus, Dowagiac, Edwardsburg, Vandalia, Eau Claire and Niles.
