NILES - The Lakeland Athletic Conference has announed the 2006 All-Conference volleyball selections and seven area athletes have been honored.
Brandywine High School senior Kelli Zache and Buchanan High School sophomore Emily Ross have both been named to the first team.
Also being named to the first team were Berrien Springs' Ashley Pagel, Bridgman's Jennifer Malm and Coloma's Haley Gire and Ann Balsis.
Buchanan's Jill Woodrick was named to the second team, while Nikki Martyniuk and Kendra Zache of Brandywine and Hayley Burks and Lindsey Borr of Buchanan all earned Honorable Mention honors.
