Frances “Nan” Laura (Franz) Groat, 96, of Carroll Street, Buchanan, died at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 6, at The Buchanan Meadows Living Center, in Buchanan, following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church, in Niles, with the Rev. Christopher Kruchkow and the Rev. Charles D. McNary officiating. Burial will follow at Morris Chapel Cemetery, in Niles. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Halbritter Funeral Home, in Niles.
Memorial contributions, in her memory, may be made to the Morris Chapel Memorial Fund.
