NILES - Niles Adult Education, located on the second floor of the Westside Administrative Center, 111 Spruce Street, is currently enrolling students for the spring semester.
Anyone who has not completed high school and is at least 18 years of age is urged to visit the Adult Education office and sign up for classes. In addition to working toward a high school diploma, it is also possible to prepare for and take the GED exam.
Enrollment is currently taking place Monday through Thursday from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Arrangements for enrolling before 4 p.m. may be made by calling the office at 684-4480. Classes begin immediately, and are offered Monday through Thursday from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Classes consist of individualized, self paced instruction.
Due to credit awarded for parenting and work experience, and credit that can be earned through testing, many students find that they are closer to completing the requirements for graduation than they thought.
There is no charge for the classes and all materials are provided.
For more information please call 684-4480 or stop in between the hours of 4:30 to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
