Niles Junior Varsity takes 63-53 win over Bobcats Tuesday

NILES - Although Niles JV basketball coach Ivery Cross wasn't too pleased with his teams shooting, the Vikes still claimed a 63-53 victory over Brandywine in the Niles Holiday Classic Tuesday afternoon.
The win allows Niles to play the winner of the Coloma/ Lake Michigan Catholic game (no results available at press time) today at 2 p.m. in the main gym.
Brandywine will play the loser of that game today at 2 p.m. in the auxiliary gym.
Zach Bloss and Bradley Thomas both led Niles in scoring with 21 points.
For the Bobcats, Mark Seastrom had 18 points, while Danny Williams added 13.
Freshmen game
There was no score at press time for the freshmen game between Niles and Brandywine, but it was confirmed that the Vikings were victorious.
Niles will take on the winner of the Coloma/Lake Michigan Catholic game today at 12 p.m. in the main gym.
Brandywine will face the loser of that game in the auxiliary gym at 12 p.m.
