NILES - The 2005 Lakeland All-Conference tennis team was announced recently, with 21 area girls making the lists.
Brandywine's No. 1 singles player Amy Konopinski and Buchanan's No. 3 singles player Holly Lucas were both named to the first team.
The Bobcats No. 1 doubles team of Ashley Valentine and Bethany Daniel and No. 4 doubles team of Morgan Bailey and Jordan Ferenczi were also named to the first team.
Buchanan's No. 2 doubles team of Katrina Weldy and Courtney Miller and No. 3 doubles team of Brianne Weldy and Mary Martine also made the first team.
Earning second team honors were No. 2 singles player Kayla Nelson of Buchanan, No. 3 singles player Amelia Harrison of Brandywine, the No. 1 doubles team of Robyn Bahr and Megan Vylonis, also of Buchanan and Brandywine's No. 2 doubles team of Erin Sinkoff and Jamie Bartuska.
