Lady Vikes finally turning the corner

MATTAWAN - Visiting Niles outscored Mattawan 34-20 in the second half to pick up a 63-45 Big 16 Conference non-divisional victory Thursday night.
The Lady Vikings (8-2) grabbed a 16-14 first quarter lead which it stretched to 29-25 at the intermission.
Niles outscored Mattawan 18-10 in the third quarter and 16-10 in the final eight minutes.
Sarah Dreher led all scorers with 28 points. Brandie Radde added 19 points. Lindsay Craig finished with six points.
Mattawan was led offensively by Tricia Principe's 14 points.
