Brandywine girls run over Coloma

NILES - Brandywine's boys' and girls' cross country teams traveled to Coloma Monday for a Lakeland Conference meet
The Bobcats' girls' team took a 27-30 victory over the Comets, while the boys' team fell by just two points, 28-30.
Ashley Harrell finished first place overall in the girl's run with a time of 25:36 and Caylin Garrard finished second with a time of 26:41.
Bettina Wolfe finished fifth for Brandywine with her time of 29:15 and Sara DeVos finished seventh with her time of 30:33.
In the boys' race, Dan DeVos finished first overall with a time of 20:27.
Tyler Weeton ended with a third place finish for his time of 20:33, just one second behind Coloma's Jeff Quigley, who finished second with a 20:32.
Curtis Wilson finished fourth with a time of 21:02 for the Bobcats. Cameron Roth ended in 10th with a time of 23:03. Chase Molica finished 12th with a time of 25:26 and Tom Buzzard finished 14th with a time of 27:03.
The Bobcats return to action on Monday, when they travel to Edwardsburg for another Lakeland Conference meet set to begin at 4:30 p.m.
