Vikings take 1-0 win over Bobcats

NILES - Although the score may not reflect it, both Niles and Brandywine's head coaches werepleased with their teams' performances Thursday evening.
The Vikings and the Bobcats met for a non-conference match, which ended in favor of host Niles, 1-0.
Niles' only goal came from Michael Tanke in the second half at the 58th minute, which was unassisted.
The Vikings took 16 shots on goal and had seven saves, while the Bobcats took nine shots on goal and had nine saves.
Niles, now 7-5, will face top ranked South Haven on Saturday.
The Bobcats will travel to Bridgman on Monday for a Lakeland Conference match set to begin at 5 p.m.
