The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team, acting on a citizen tip, arrested two subjects and confiscated more than 50 marijuana plants from a Volinia Township residence on Dutch Settlement Street, east of Dowagiac.
On Wednesday, Sept. 14, at approximately 5:30 p.m., investigators went to the rural residence and while there discovered more than 50 recently picked marijuana plants in a vehicle on the property.
Investigation that followed showed that two males who were visiting the residence were involved in the manufacture and attempted distribution of the marijuana.
Both of these individuals were arrested and transported to jail by Cass County sheriff's deputies.
