NILES - The Niles boy's cross country team had a good showing at the Centreville Invitational Saturday as three runners placed in the top 20.
In the freshman/sophomore divisions, Nate Allison took fifth place for his time of 18:45.
Brett Ortix took 11th with a time of 19:23, Shawn Calhoun took 34th with a time of 22:07 and Matt Ftacek took 38th with a time of 23:26.
In the junior/senior division, Steve Scally took 12th place for his time of 18:21.
Andy Karsten took 21st with a time of 18:55, Dan Geiger took 22nd with a time of 19:09 and Derek Purcell took 36th with a time of 20:40.
Niles will return to action on Wednesday when it travels to the Berrien Springs Invitational.
