Brandywine JV golf team takes second

NILES - Although Brandywine and Edwardsburg's JV golf teams both ended the day with total team scores of 195, it was the Eddies who took first place at the JV Lakeland Conference Jamboree Tuesday at Hampshire Country Club.
Edwardsburg hosted eight teams, which included Berrien Springs, Brandywine, Buchanan, Cassopolis, Coloma, Bridgman and River Valley.
Buchanan didn't finish the jamboree, putting it in eighth place.
Brandywine was led by Chris Rose who shot a 43 on the Dogwood front nine, which is a par 36.
Justin Ely shot a 47, Billy McDonald shot a 50, Tyler Hick a 55, Jesse Daniels a 56, Chris Casey shot a 60, Justin Carter a 76 and Tyler Weelou a 78.
