Dowagiac golfers seventh at Centreville

The Dowagiac boys' golf team finished seventh at the Centreville Invitational on Tuesday.
The Chieftains shot a team total of 225.
Kalamazoo Hackett won the tournament with a score of 193. Three Rivers was second with a 208 and White Pigeon third with a 209.
The tournament format was two scramble teams and a best ball team.
Dowagiac's best ball team of Nick Krizinski and Adam Carlson shot 78. The winning score was 63.
Mike Hoff and Richie Hutchinson shot 75 in the scramble portion of the tournament, while Zack Russom and Kevin Proshwitz shot 72.
The winning scramble score was 67.
Dowagiac continues a busy week today at the Berrien Springs Invitational being held at Indian Lake Hills Golf Course.
The tournament was scheduled to begin at 9 a.m.
