NILES - Take a minute out of your busy day and really think about what you would wish for. Now think about someone or a family who really deserves to have their life or lives changed by having that wish granted.
The community of Niles has been doing great with sending wishes in to get a chance to appear on the new NBC show Three Wishes, which will premier during the fall season.
But there is still more work to be done in order to have the casting directors from the show visit the community.
Three Wishes which is hosted by Grammy award winning recording artist Amy Grant, is looking to help deserving people, who don't always take the time to help themselves.
They are looking for those heartwarming, but fun stories from all over the country and even right here in Niles.
Examples of things they are looking for are, reuniting family or friends, honoring unsung heroes, or good Samaritans, saving a business from closing, and the list just goes on and on.
Residents can make their creative wishes for the show, using one of three ways. They can either go to www.nbc.com and click on the icon in the bottom right corner of the page and fill out the application, or they can call (323) 845-3031 and finally they can e-mail kitter at stacyk@glassmanmedia.com.
