All-Stars set to shine

NILES - Brandywine's Ashley Antus, Amanda Grice and Dee Echevarria, plus Dowagiac's Brittney Reist and Mandy Parish, will take part in the Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association's All-Star Game on July 23.
The annual event will be played at Ranney Park in Lansing.
The Division I game will be held at noon with the Division 4 game set for 2:30 p.m.
Reist will take part in the Division II All-Star game set to begin at 10 a.m.
The Division III game, featuring Antus, Grice and Echevarria, who will play on the White team, is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.
They will be joined by Sheena Smith, Hemlock; Courtney Moliterno, Birch Run; Carly Jo Fritz, Bloomingdale; Allison Frisinger, Kalamazoo Christian; Denise Kommarynski, Hudson; Aimee Gowell, Shelby; Kristen Rovoll, Birch Run; Tricia Everett, Swan Valley; Rachel Hall, Riverview Gabriel Richard; Halley Buchan, Maple City-Glen Lake; Jennie Cummings, Hemlock; Chelsea Laundra, Blissfield; Megan Darcy, Ravenna.
The Red team will consist of Stacey Delaney, Freeland; Jessica Masternak, Springport; Lauren Meyers, Clinton; Megan Gainforth, USA; Shanna Miller, Freeland; Marisa Hecht, Reese; Rachel Pedersen, Clinton; Kala Winiecki, USA; Danielle Martin, Lansing Catholic Central; Vanessa Briggs, Freeland; Rena Barnett, Pine River; Cara Burnison, Reese; Stephanie Lucas, Elk Rapids; Katie Rose Hackney, Lansing Catholic Central; and Katie Morgan, Pine River.
Reist and Parish will play for the Red team.

Pleasant; Stephanie Young, Flint Kearsley; Ashley Skornicka, Clio; Angie Slattery, Power Catholic; Melanie Eckert, Tri-County; Tarah Torres, Tecumseh; Julie Owen, Goodrich; Jamie Smith, SCS Lake Shore; Lauren Warkentein, Marine City; Kristy Augusyn, SCS Lake Shore; Meridith Dura, Brandon; Audrey Semanco, SCS Lake Shore; Ashley Walters, Grant; and Heather Jones, Trenton.
The White team will consist of Danielle Buche, Portland; Lisa Gartland, Escanaba; Krystle Bailey, Wyoming Rogers; Stacy Blemaster, DeWitt; Brynna Darwin, Chelsea; Amber Huffman, Wyoming Rogers; Courtney Wallace, Richmond; Amanda Jager, Comstock; Katie Keenan, Alma; Kristen Schropp, Whitehall; Amanda McBride, Mattawan; Amanda Heuvelman, Wyoming Rogers; Amber Olegniczak, Alma; Heidi Wear, Wayland Union; Ashley Mannino, Coloma; Katherine Ballor, Notre Dame Prep; and Mary Kate Setta, Chelsea.
Southwestern lower Michigan will also be represented in the Division IV All-Star Game as Lawrence's Amy McLemore will play for the Red squad.
