CASSOPOLIS - After a day full of art this Saturday, June 25, visitors will be able to enjoy an evening of free live music at this year's Cassopolis Art and Music Festival.
The music will begin at 4 p.m. behind Standard Federal Bank on Broadway in downtown Cassopolis.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and settle in for an evening of great music.
The opening band will be Jack's Money, an acoustic classic rock group from Kalamazoo. Popular in the clubs near WMU, Jack's Money will bring their unique twist to classic rock songs from the 1970s and '80s. Next on the lineup is The Deep River Band at 5:15 p.m. followed by Bluer Skyz at 6:30 p.m.
Bluer Skyz, a guitar-driven rock band, is always a local crowd pleaser and is sure to have young and old singing along.
Returning again this year is the popular FBI. Their name, which stands for Funky Blues Institution, says everything listeners need to know about what to expect. This group of blues brothers loves their music and live by their motto, "You Have The Right To Be Entertained." FBI will begin performing at 8 p.m. and keep folks dancing well into the evening.
The Cassopolis Art and Music Festival will be June 24, 25 and 26 in and around downtown Cassopolis.
