Next round of sports camps start Monday

It is not too late to register your child for one of Dowagiac's seven summer sports camps.
Brochures are available in the Dowagiac Athletic Office. A complete form may be dropped off or mailed to the athletic office.
Football Camp I
The first session of Dowagiac's football camp will begin Monday at 4 p.m.
The football camp will run June 20 through June 24 from 4-5:30 p.m.
The camp will be run by Dowagiac coach Mike Stanger and his staff.
The camp is non-contact for students entering grades 7-8 only.
The focus of the camp will be on fundamentals, sportsmanship, teamwork and academics.
The camp will be held at Chris Taylor -Alumni Field.
Soccer Camp I
The camp will held June 20 through July 1 from 10 a.m. until noon.
The camp will be run by soccer coach Mike Williams and his staff.
Participants in this camp are children entering grades 3-6. The emphasis will be on the fundamentals of basic soccer skillls with applications in scrimmages.
The camp will be held at the APEX Field at the high school.
Volleyball Camp II
This camp will run June 27 through July 1 from 5:15-7:15 p.m.
The camp will be directed by varsity coach Carl Greulich and his staff.
The camp is for children entering grades 7-9 and their parents.
Camp emphasis will be on teaching kids and their parents the fundamentals of volleyball with game applications.
The camp will be held in the Dowagiac Union High School gymnasium.
