Niles JV baseball splits with Berrien Springs

NILES - After a 3-2 loss in the first of two games against Berrien Springs last Friday afternoon, the Vikings turned around in game two and took an 11-1 win over the Shamrocks.
Josh Beers suffered the pitching loss in the first game and Dustin Anderson pickied up the win in the night cap.
Niles was led offensively in the first game by Tim Hardy who had a triple and a single.
Bobby Anton added a double and an RBI and Kevin ostrowski had one RBI.
In the second game it was Drew Donohue who led the way for the Vikes with a double, three singles and two RBIs.
Anderson added a single and a RBI, Hardy had a double, single ad three RBIs, Anton had a home run, a single and a RBI, Jamie Hall had two singles and a RBI, Keith Bouwkamp had two singles and two RBIs, Beers added a single and Ostrowski had one RBI for Niles.
Offensively Hardy leads with 32 singles and four triples so far this season, Donohue leads with 13 doubles and three home runs and Beers has 37 RBIs.
Anderson has a total of 12 wins on the mound so far this year while Beers and Ostrowski both have four for the Vikes.
Niles, now 25-3 overall, will travel to Benton Harbor today with game one set to begin at 4 p.m.
