Cass County Commissioners David Taylor, Johnie Rodebush and Minnie Warren will be the featured speakers a the next breakfast meeting of the Cass County Democracy Club.
Topics will include effects of state and federal budget cuts on the county, as well as other countywide issues.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held at Zeke's in Dowagiac tomorrow morning from 9:30 to noon. The program starts at 10:30.
Purpose of the Democracy Club is to promote the interests of ordinary Americans and the principles of the Democratic Party, good government and democracy.
The membership represents a cross-section of the community and includes members of the working class, organized labor, professionals, veterans, students, individuals with disabilities and seniors who all want to get involved, have their voices heard and make a difference in government.
